Drone batteries cannot be used after they are swollen. Battery bulging is caused by increased internal pressure in the battery, usually due to battery performance not matching the drone's working requirements, improper operating habits, frequent high and low speed flights, overcharging or over-discharging, etc. Swollen batteries not only affect flight performance, but may also cause fire or even explosion due to overheating, so the battery must be replaced immediately.

Reasons for drone battery bulging
Battery performance does not match working requirements: Drones with different purposes have different requirements for battery performance. For example, ordinary aerial photography drones and load-carrying drones have different battery requirements. The former does not require high current discharge, while the latter requires stable high current discharge. If used improperly, the battery will heat up and produce gas, causing bulging.
Operational habits: Frequent high and low speed interchangeable flights, overcharging or over-discharging and other improper usage habits will accelerate battery bulging.
Use or store at excessively high temperatures: Using or storing batteries in high temperature environments can also cause battery bulging.

Proper use and maintenance of drone batteries
Check batteries regularly: Avoid using swollen batteries and replace damaged or aged batteries in time.
Charge correctly: Use a suitable charger, avoid overcharging or overdischarging, and ensure that the battery is charged within the appropriate voltage range.
Avoid high temperature environments: Do not use or store batteries in high temperature environments to prevent overheating.
